MCG holds disaster drill for nursing students



LANEY WALKER. DISASTERS CAN HIT AT ANY TIME AND TODAY NURSING STUDENTS AT MCG ARE GETTING READY IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY A BIG EMERGENCY.THE SCHOOL DID A DISASTER SIMULATION DRILL AND INSTRUCTORS SAY THEY WANTED IT TO BE OVERWHELMING JUST LIKE REAL LIFE DISASTERS SUCH AS THE GRANITEVILLE TRAIN ACCIDENT OR THE REFINERY BLAST IN SAVANNAH. its teaching us to work together as a team teamso we have to work quickly and together to calm their fears. and to get them into the get them into the immediate treatment that they need. need.STUDENTS FROM THE AUGUSTA AND ATHENS CAMPUSES PARTICIPATED IN TODAYS DRILL.

laney walker. disasters can hit at any time and today nursing students at mcg are getting ready in case of an emergency a big emergency.the school did a disaster simulation drill and instructors say they wanted it to be overwhelming just like real life disasters such as the graniteville train accident or the refinery blast in savannah. its teaching us to work together as a team teamso we have to work quickly and together to calm their fears. and to get them into the get them into the immediate treatment that they need. need.students from the augusta and athens campuses participated in todays drill.
