RICHMOND COUNTY INVESTIGATORS SAY THEY KNOW WHO KILLED A 26 YEAR OLD MAN..AND THEYRE OUT LOOKING FOR HIM TONIGHT. 19 YEAR OLD ANTHONY JOE IS WANTED FOR MURDER.. .AFTER INVESTIGATORS SAY HE SHOT AND KILLED DAVID READER SATURDAY NIGHT.. AND THEY SAY IT WAS ALL OVER DRUGS. ANTHONY JOE IS CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS.. AND INVESTIGATORS SAY IF YOU KNOW ANHING ABOUT WHERE HE IS CALL THE SHERIFFS OFFICE. INVESTIGATORS FOUND READER AT EAST AUGUSTA COMMONS LATE SATURDAY. AN AUTOPSY SHOWS HE DIED OF MULTIPLE GUN SHOT WOUNDS. READER WAS THE LEAD CELLIST IN THE AUGUSTA SYMPHONY, AND HAD PLAYED THE CELLO AS WELL AS THE PIANO SINCE HE WAS A YOUNG BOY. HE JOINED THE SYMPHONY ABOUT A YEAR AGO AFTER GETTING HIS MASTERS. HE ALSO TAUGHT MUSIC AND WAS TRYING OUT FOR THE ATLANTA OPERA ORCHESTRA. JOE HAD JUST PERFORMED A CONCERT IN EVANS.... AND JUST A LITTLE WHILE LATER NEIGHBORS FOUND HIM IN HIS CAR AT EAST AUGUSTA COMMONS. I RAN TO HIM TO E WHAT WAS WRONG WITH HIM AND HE HAD BLOOD ON HIM AND THE GIRLS SAID GET A TOWEL. TOWEL. DEPUTIES BELIEVE HE WENT TO THE AREA TO BUY UGS BUT LEADERS OF THE AUGUSTA SYMPHONY SAY HE DIDNT SHOW ANY SIGNS OF DRUG USE. TRANSCRIPT: now from crime team 12.. richmond county investigators say they know who killed a 26 year old man..and theyre out looking for him tonight. 19 year old anthony joe is wanted for murder.. .after investigators say he shot and killed david reader saturday night.. and they say it was all over drugs. anthony joe is considered armed and dangerous.. and investigators say if you know anhing about where he is call the sheriffs office. investigators found reader at east augusta commons late saturday. an autopsy shows he died of multiple gun shot wounds. reader was the lead cellist in the augusta symphony, and had played the cello as well as the piano since he was a young boy. he joined the symphony about a year ago after getting his masters. he also taught music and was trying out for the atlanta opera orchestra. joe had just performed a concert in evans.... and just a little while later neighbors found him in his car at east augusta commons. i ran to him to e what was wrong with him and he had blood on him and the girls said get a towel. towel. deputies believe he went to the area to buy ugs but leaders of the augusta symphony say he didnt show any signs of drug use. theye workiing out his funeral arrangements with his parents...who live in kansas. kansas.again anyone with information should call the sheriffs office. theres a cash reward d you can remain anonymous. a man accused of murder will have his second shot at bond tomorrow. a bond hearing for derek maner is
